Health Requirements:

We want you to rest easy while your pet is staying with us, so to guarantee the safety of your pet, we require all guests in our boarding facility to show proof of the following:
       *Rabies vaccination (or titer)
       *Distemper/Parvo combination vaccination (or titer)
       *Bordetella vaccination (or titer)
*Topical or oral flea preventative (such as Frontline)
       *Heartguard
You can rest assured that your pet will not be exposed to any dogs that have not had their proper health checks because we will NOT accept any dogs checking in that have not shown proof.

Why are these health requirements important?
Rabies – Rabies vaccination is required by law.  Also, rabies is transmitted through saliva.  Both people and other animals in the kennel could become infected through contact with an infected dog or its saliva.
Distemper combination – This vaccine protects against many diseases that are both highly contagious and deadly.
Bordetella – Bordetella protects against the highly contagious kennel cough.  Kennel cough makes a dog very sick and lasts for  weeks.  It can even be deadly for a dog that is young, old, or compromised, and runs rampant in kennels that do not require this vaccination.
Topical flea preventative – topical treatments such as Frontline are the only reliable way to prevent flea infestations.  Ridding your home of a flea infestation can be costly, besides the unpleasantness of having the fleas in your house.  This requirement is to save our customers both time and hassle.  No one wants their dog to come home with fleas!
Heartguard (or other comparable products) – Heartguard is a dewormer and is required year- round.  Dogs with intestinal parasites can shed eggs on the ground, and another dog can pick these eggs up as they walk around sniffing.  Heartguard prevents intestinal parasites from coming into our facility and being transmitted from dog to dog.

Private Runs

All runs are fully enclosed, and climate controlled.  Runs are built of recycled plastic and wooden walls with panel gate fronts – no chain link.

All runs are disinfected with a veterinary-grade disinfectant prior to each new guest checking in.

Care for your pet

Your dog will be taken outside at least four times every day they stay with us for potty and play time.  Dogs that are social have the opportunity to play with other dogs, and dogs that are not social play with us.  Dogs generally will be fed twice a day, though other schedules are fine at the owner’s request, up to four times daily.  We recommend you bring your own food to prevent stomach upset, and we will store and feed at no extra cost.
